Throw Away The Soldering Iron!
One of the most common questions we receive is: “what do I need to do a solderless installation?” Over half of our clients install preamp upgrades with no soldering skills! Yet, there are some installation scenarios that require connecting existing wires to wires from the preamp kit. This video shows how a IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) can be used to splice wires without needing a soldering iron or special skills.
