It can be scary when everything is wired up and there is no sound. In the wise words of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: DON’T PANIC!
It’s difficult to damage the LHZ preamp and it’s accessories, so don’t worry that you broke something. You didn’t! If you’re not getting sound, it is almost always a connection that was missed, a cable plugged in wrong, or a component that is shorted out against the conductive cavity wall. That means it’s pretty easy to identify and fix.
The diagram below outlines the steps we normally walk clients through to identify where in the signal loss is. You can download and print this to follow the steps yourself.
