A preamp upgrade can seem overwhelming when you open the cavity and see all the wires. It’s not bad at all, as long as you plan your install well. To make it easier, following is a general checklist for planning and installing your LHZ.
View and Download the LHZ-04 Installation Manual right here!
This is a living document that is constantly being updated as we create new installation diagrams for clients that have unique wiring challenges.
View and Download the MID-03 Midrange Control Owner Manual right here!
The MID-03 plugs in between the output of your LHZ preamp and the output jack to give you the perfect midrange adjustment without impacting the clarity and articulation of the LHZ preamp.
The LBCA-02 is an Active Balance Control that works well with both the classic and X-series pickups from EMG™ as well as pickups from most other manufacturers.
For more information about the LBCA-02, download the Owner’s Guide here.
The VOL-01 is a passive 25K volume control designed to receive input from low impedance Active pickups, our LBCA-02 Active Blend Control, or the EMG™ ABCX Blend Control.
Download the VOL-91 Owner’s Manual here.
The HL-1 HAZard LAMPS pedal gives passive basses the same punch and power as a USA Spector bass with an internal Hazlabs preamp.
While it is so simple that it really doesn’t need a manual, we made one anyway!
