The LBCA-02 is an Active Balance Control that works well with both the classic and X-series pickups from EMG™ as well as pickups from most other manufacturers.

Bassist Paul McFadden recently upgraded his Spector CST from the stock configuration (EMG X-series P/J pickups and Legacy preamp) to the LHZ preamp with the new MID-03 Midrange control and a set of EMG PJ (CS) pickups. The challenge was that while the stock configuration was great for his traditional rock band, he needed a warmer tone for his funk / groove band.
